Hey! This is Lena Rae
I’m a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Malibu, CA, but honestly, I’ll take my camera anywhere. My style is bold, colorful, and full of energy — kind of like the best version of your favorite memories. I also work with high-school seniors and couples who want to document their love story or engagement sessions. So, if you’re looking for photos that make you feel like the main character, you’re in the right place.
Why I do this
I believe photography has the power to hold onto the things we don’t even realize we’ll miss — the way someone laughs, the light in their eyes, the in-between moments that make life feel real. What started as something fun became my way of slowing time, of keeping pieces of people and places exactly as they are right now.
How I work
If you’re looking for a super serious, stand-still-and-smile photographer, I might not be your girl. I bring the energy, the playlist, and the snacks to every photoshoot because I want your session to feel like a fun hangout with a friend. We’ll move, we’ll laugh, we’ll probably blast music — and make a little magic along the way.
Fun facts about me
I have a soft spot for vintage film cameras, never say no to an iced coffee, and believe the best adventures start with a spontaneous road trip. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m chasing sunsets, scouting cute cafes, or convincing my friends to let me take their picture ‘just because.’ I love bright moments, bold colors, and big laughs.
